Openers are complex pieces of equipment. Consisting of a drive unit and remote control system, they’re responsible for automating the door's movement. They also provide many of the safety features that keep your household safe. Like any complex system, there are many things that can go wrong, but our team of experienced technicians can help. We provide fast and effective repairs for all sorts of issues.

When choosing your new opener, you can compare units from LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie - our technicians will provide all the information you need to make an informed decision.
Which Drive Is Right For You?
Openers can be divided into three categories depending on the type of drive system they use. Chain drives are the most widespread type of opener, since they’re affordable and reliable. They use a metal chain, similar to a bike chain, to move the door, which can cause a lot of noise. Belt drives replace this chain with a rubber or fiberglass belt - this cuts down on noise, but adds cost. Screw drives swap belts and chains for a long threaded pole. This is quieter than a chain, and requires much less maintenance than the other drives, but can also be a bit more costly.
Preventing Garage Accidents
Garage door openers are fitted with several safety devices designed to prevent accidents, such as the safety sensors and an auto-reverse function. It’s essential to regularly test these, because garage door systems can potentially be dangerous. Our technicians offer a full maintenance service which includes testing these safety systems.
